Client: Marriott Vacations Worldwide
Role: Creative Direction & Designer

While at Marriott Vacations Worldwide, I was asked to create a logo and branding for Top of the Strand that better represented the bar, its location, and its market. The goal was to elevate the identity with a modern, upscale look rooted in classic New York—reflecting high‑end cocktails, sous‑vide technique, and the bar’s direct view of the Empire State Building, all through a palette of deep blues, warm coppers, and rich browns tailored to Baby Boomers and Gen Xers.

The branding draws from what defines the bar: refined cocktails, a modern sensibility, and the iconic vertical rhythm of Manhattan architecture. Clean geometry pairs with Art Deco influences to establish a visual language that feels elevated, modern, and tied to the city.

The resulting brand feels timeless yet current: sophisticated, confident, and unmistakably New York. It captures the atmosphere of an upscale rooftop lounge and reflects the bar’s elevated experience and its position overlooking one of the most iconic views in the city.

Wishing you a day of purpose.
